About KSLP

A software company based in India, building simulation tools for nuclear reactor design.

What we do

Reactor studies draw on several specialist simulation codes. Moving between them can mean rebuilding models and transferring data by hand. KSLP is developing a workbench to connect those steps and make design comparisons easier to reproduce.

Our focus is on the practical questions reactor developers, research groups and engineering firms face across fission and fusion.

The name

KKineticsHow a reactor behaves over time.
SSimulationPhysics you can explore before you build.
LLatticeThe arrangement of fuel at the heart of every core.
PPlasmaThe ionised matter at the heart of fusion.

How we work

Calibrated models

Physics models are calibrated against reference data before they are used in design studies.

Reproducible

Every result records the inputs, code versions and data libraries that produced it.

Peaceful use only

Our work is for civilian nuclear energy. KSLP does not build or operate reactors or handle nuclear material.

Founder

Kannam Prasanth

Kannam Prasanth founded KSLP. His work spans semiconductor device physics and computational modelling, with doctoral research in electronics engineering. He has published five research articles and filed more than ten patents. At KSLP, he brings that modelling experience to nuclear reactor studies.
