Terms & conditions
Last updated 7 October 2026
KSLP supports peaceful civilian nuclear energy. These terms set out how our website and offerings may be used, including our prohibition on weapons-related activities.
01Introduction and acceptance
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites at kslp.co.uk and kslp.pages.dev and any related content, communications and offerings (together, the “Platform”) operated by KSLP (“KSLP”, “we”, “us” or “our”), an early-stage venture founded by Kannam Sai Lakshmi Prasanth. Formal incorporation of the company is in progress.
By accessing or using the Platform, or by engaging with KSLP through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
02Scope of the Platform
The Platform is intended to:
- provide information about KSLP, its mission, technology and activities;
- facilitate research, partnership, investment and business enquiries;
- enable requests for conversations, demonstrations or collaborations; and
- support recruitment and engagement with stakeholders.
Nothing on the Platform is an offer to sell, license or deploy any product or technology, unless expressly agreed in a separate written agreement. Descriptions of products and capabilities in development reflect our current plans and may change.
03Eligibility
By using the Platform, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years of age;
- you have the authority to act on behalf of any organisation for which you use the Platform; and
- your use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
04Permitted use
You may use the Platform only for lawful, peaceful civilian purposes, subject to the peaceful-use restrictions below, such as making enquiries or learning about KSLP. You must not:
- misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its systems;
- upload or transmit viruses, malicious code or harmful material;
- use the Platform to infringe intellectual property, confidentiality or privacy rights;
- send confidential, export-controlled or otherwise restricted technical information through our public channels; or
- make false, misleading or fraudulent representations.
05Peaceful civilian use only
KSLP software must not be used to develop nuclear weapons, warheads or other weapons. KSLP provides its technology solely for peaceful civilian research, education and engineering. Lawful civilian fusion, fission, energy conversion, materials, cooling and radiation-protection studies remain within that purpose, subject to the applicable licence and law.
For this section and the following two sections, “KSLP Offerings” means the Platform and KSLP-provided software, demonstrations, APIs, models, datasets, documentation, technical assistance and services made available under these Terms or an agreement incorporating these restrictions. The restrictions also govern your use of results and other outputs obtained through those Offerings. They do not assert KSLP ownership of your independent work.
You must not use, adapt, supply or enable access to KSLP Offerings, directly or indirectly, for any of the following:
- Nuclear weapons and explosive devices: research, design, simulation, development, manufacture, testing, optimisation, maintenance or operation of a nuclear weapon, nuclear warhead, nuclear explosive device, or a component intended for such a device.
- Other weapons and weaponisation: chemical, biological or radiological weapons, radiological dispersal devices, conventional weapons, or systems and components intended to enable weaponisation.
- Weapons delivery and support: delivery, targeting, guidance, launch or other systems intended to carry, deploy or support a weapon, including associated military weapons programmes.
- Proliferation and diversion: producing, acquiring, processing or diverting nuclear or other controlled materials for a prohibited weapons purpose; supporting illicit procurement; or evading safeguards, inspections or non-proliferation controls.
- Harmful acts: terrorism, sabotage of nuclear or other critical infrastructure, or activities intended to cause unlawful injury, destruction or radioactive contamination.
These prohibitions apply to assistance and services provided to another person as well as to your own work. Describing an activity as academic, theoretical, experimental, defensive or dual-use does not make a prohibited weapons purpose permissible. A government authorisation or export licence does not override KSLP’s peaceful-use restriction.
06End users, access and misuse
You must give accurate information about the intended purpose, end user and destination when KSLP requests it. You must not conceal a prohibited purpose through an intermediary, contractor, affiliate or other third party.
You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to ensure that people to whom you provide authorised access comply with these restrictions. Where an applicable licence permits redistribution or onward supply, you must communicate these restrictions and require the recipient to accept equivalent obligations before providing KSLP Offerings. Nothing here grants a right to redistribute, sublicense or transfer them.
If you know or have reasonable grounds to suspect prohibited use or diversion, stop the affected use or transfer and notify KSLP promptly through the contact details below. Do not send classified or export-controlled technical material through public contact channels. KSLP may request reasonable end-use assurances, refuse a proposed engagement, or suspend access or support while investigating a concern. Confirmed misuse may result in termination of the affected permission or service and other remedies available under the applicable agreement and law. Disclosures to authorities will be made only where required or otherwise permitted by law.
07Export controls and software agreements
You must comply with export, re-export, import, sanctions and technology-transfer rules applicable to you, KSLP and the relevant transaction, including Indian SCOMET requirements where applicable. You must not supply or make KSLP Offerings available to a person, destination or end use prohibited by those rules, or carry out a controlled transfer without the required authorisations. Transfers can include electronic delivery, remote access and technical assistance. These Terms do not classify any item for export or provide regulatory approval.
Software access and licensing require a separate applicable software, evaluation or service agreement. KSLP’s peaceful-use policy is a condition of any new grant of rights by KSLP and is to be included in that agreement. Publication of these website Terms does not itself amend an existing signed agreement. Independently licensed third-party and open-source components remain governed by their own licences; these Terms do not rewrite those licences or grant additional rights in those components.
08No engineering or safety advice
All content on the Platform is general information about KSLP and its work. It is not professional engineering, nuclear safety, regulatory, legal or investment advice, and must not be relied upon for the design, construction, operation, licensing or safety assessment of any nuclear facility or other safety-critical system.
09Intellectual property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, visual designs, software and technical descriptions (“Content”), is owned by or licensed to KSLP and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and view the Platform for its intended purpose. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification or exploitation of the Content without our prior written permission is prohibited.
10Confidentiality
Any non-public technical, commercial or business information that KSLP shares with you through the Platform or in subsequent discussions must be kept confidential and used only for the purpose for which it was shared. Nothing in these Terms obliges KSLP to disclose confidential or proprietary information.
11Your submissions
If you send us information, enquiries, documents or materials:
- you confirm that you have the right to share them;
- you allow KSLP to use them to respond to you, evaluate opportunities and carry out legitimate activities; and
- they are not treated as confidential unless we have agreed so in writing.
Unsolicited ideas or suggestions may be used by KSLP without obligation to you.
12Privacy and data protection
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect Personal Data in accordance with applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and how you can exercise your rights.
13Third-party links
The Platform may link to third-party websites or services, such as LinkedIn and Google Scholar. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices, or for any loss arising from your use of them. You access third-party websites at your own risk.
14Disclaimers
The Platform and its Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KSLP makes no warranties about the accuracy, completeness or reliability of the Content, does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and does not warrant fitness for any particular purpose. Any reliance on the Content is at your own risk.
15Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KSLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for any loss of business, revenue, data or opportunity, arising from your use of the Platform. Our aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to access the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
16Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KSLP and its founder, team members and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages or expenses arising from your misuse of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
17Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform, without notice where necessary, for breach of these Terms, including prohibited weapons-related use, or for security or legal reasons. Action affecting separately licensed software or services is governed by the applicable agreement and law. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that have already accrued.
18Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect when published on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
19Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
